For small and medium-sized municipal utilities in particular, it is an enormous challenge to develop the mostly small-scale, decentralized business in an economically viable way without having to build up extensive expertise. Against this background, most sensible tenant electricity projects fail in the concept phase. In addition, the solution can be connected to the existing processes of a municipal utility in a very short time via interfaces without having to intervene deeply in the existing IT.
