The Dutch dairy group FrieslandCampina, which is best known in Germany for brands such as Landliebe, Frico and Valess, is a pioneer in the industrial use of sustainably produced energy. The company has been running a program to install and operate biogas plants at partner dairies for some time now.

ConceptsnSolutions B.V. (CNS) - a subsidiary of Hanover-based GETEC ENERGIE GmbH (GETEC ENERGIE) - supports industrial energy consumers in obtaining sustainably generated electricity. CNS supplies both guarantees of origin (HKN) and green electricity. "By linking these two products, we reduce the transaction costs and can therefore reduce the costs for sustainable energy, which benefits our customers," says Jasper Mattijssen, Managing Director of CNS, explaining his concept.
