The joint venture GETEC Sales & Trading, based in Hanover, will position itself on the German market as a dynamic and independent energy services company for GETEC ENERGIE's growing customer base. The joint venture was approved by the German antitrust authorities on April 22, 2021. GETEC ENERGIE holds 74.9% of the shares, EDF 25.1% . GETEC ENERGIE is contributing its highly scalable and largely automated platform for the supply, processing and provision of energy industry services to the joint venture. As the trading house of the French electricity group EDF, EDF Trading has first-class trading access to the futures market and a wide range of products in the areas of wholesale electricity, natural gas, crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), sustainable products and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
