Patrick Notzon is the new Managing Director of GETEC-ENERGIE subsidiary GEWI
Hanover, 25.01.2023 - Patrick Notzon has been managing the business of the direct marketing subsidiary of GETEC ENERGIE GmbH (GETEC ENERGIE) since the beginning of January. The business graduate from near Goslar will focus on the sales and organizational development of the company at GEWI GmbH (GEWI).
GEWI, one of the largest direct marketers of electricity from renewable energy sources in German-speaking countries, has had a new Managing Director, Patrick Notzon, since the beginning of January. Patrick Notzon will be responsible for GEWI's sales activities and will focus on the strategic and organizational development of the GETEC-ENERGIE subsidiary.
The business graduate from Seesen in the Vorharz region has over 13 years of experience in the energy business. Most recently, he was Managing Director at Alpiq Energie Deutschland GmbH, where he was responsible for Business Development and Sales Optimization in Northwest Europe. “I am looking forward to my new role at GEWI and the close cooperation with the other GETEC companies,” explains Patrick Notzon. “Making even better use of the existing synergies and further scaling the marketing of renewable energy sources and driving it forward economically are both my goal and my motivation,” Notzon continues.
“In Mr. Notzon, we have found the perfect person to take over the management of GEWI,” commented Cord Wiesner, CEO of GETEC ENERGIE, on the new addition to GEWI. “His many years of experience in energy trading and in the design of green energy products will be valuable input for the further growth of GEWI.
