GETEC ENERGIE adds Chief Trading Officer to its management team after another record year.
Hanover, 09.02.2023 - The management of GETEC ENERGIE GmbH (GETEC ENERGIE) has an additional member, Alexander Rybka, since January 1, 2023. In his new position, the company's former Head of Trading will also be responsible for the areas of analysis and intraday trading.
The management of GETEC ENERGIE has had four members since January 1: Alexander Rybka (born 1988) joined the management team of Cord Wiesner, Christian Holtmann and Jens Maire at the beginning of the year. With this decision, the Hanover-based energy service provider is emphasizing the importance of energy trading for its future strategic direction after a turbulent but at the same time highly successful year.
Alexander Rybka has more than 13 years of experience in the energy industry, including positions in Luxembourg and Denmark. As Head of Trading, he has been responsible for GETEC ENERGIE’s futures market transactions since 2019. In his new position, he is also responsible for analysis and intraday trading.
“Energy trading and a deep understanding of the markets play a central role in our current and future business activities,” explains Cord Wiesner, CEO of GETEC ENERGIE. “The appointment of Alexander Rybka as Chief Trading Officer reflects this relevance on the one hand and expresses the deep trust of the management and our shareholder in Mr. Rybka’s abilities on the other.
