Excellence in recruiting: GETEC ENERGIE honored with the coveted Recruiting Excellence Award® seal of approval
PADERBORN / HANNOVER, November 30, 2023 - Sustainability and efficiency are not only driving forces for GETEC ENERGIE GmbH (GETEC ENERGIE) in the procurement and marketing of energy. The energy service provider also wants to score points in the recruitment of talent and has undergone the demanding Recruiting Excellence Audit® (RExA) by Jobware GmbH.
Motivated by the prospect of improving its own recruiting performance, Hanover-based GETEC ENERGIE subjected its recruiting processes to a 360-degree analysis. To this end, the RExA experts recorded the different perspectives of applicants, HR staff and management. From the identification of new personnel requirements and the use of the online application form by candidates to the subsequent interviews and onboarding: at RExA, all contact points within the applicant journey, as well as the internal HR processes, are recorded, analyzed and benchmarked against market competitors.
At the end of the audit, GETEC ENERGIE received a comprehensive results report with practical instructions and was also delighted to be awarded the coveted RExA seal of approval.
“We were impressed by the thoroughness and the high level of detail with which the Recruiting Excellence Audit was conducted. It gave us new, exciting impulses, but also confirmed that our applicants are already very satisfied. From now on, we will not apply a lower standard when looking at our recruiting processes,” said Antje Papenberg, Head of Human Resources at GETEC ENERGIE, who was delighted with the award.
The energy service provider, which has more than 400 employees including subsidiaries and associated companies, scored points with its short, intuitive application forms, among other things. The applicants were also impressed by the fast response times of the HR and specialist departments. Several years of RExA experience have shown that short response times and standardized escalation scenarios only lead to optimal throughput times when used in unison.
The RExA experts were also impressed by the fact that GETEC ENERGIE has also introduced a recruiting controlling system, specifically records relevant recruiting KPIs and uses them to manage its own recruiting processes. The positive impression that applicants had in the audit also continued after signing the contract. In retrospect, 97% of applicants are satisfied or even very satisfied with their decision to work for GETEC ENERGIE.
In future, GETEC ENERGIE will implement further measures to attract applicants for the advertised positions. For example, the content of the careers website will be further expanded and pre-boarding and the communication of benefits in job advertisements will be further optimized.
