GETEC Germany PPA: Over 50 deals signed - first GETEC Austria PPA signed
Hanover, 05.11.2025 - GETEC ENERGIE is seeing lively interest from its customers in its latest Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) product: More than 50 GETEC Germany PPAs have been successfully concluded with commercial energy consumers since the product was launched in 2024. In total, over 1.3 terawatt hours (TWh) of electricity from renewables were contracted via these newly structured electricity supply contracts. The respective deliveries will begin at individual times, with the first starting in January 2025.
The GETEC Germany PPA is based on technology-specific generation profiles. It offers commercial energy consumers a flexible and economically attractive opportunity to purchase electricity from German PV and/or wind power plants. The standardized delivery models enable fixed prices, flexible delivery times and a high level of supply security – ideal for industry and multi-sites.
Customers in Austria are also recognizing the advantages of the PPA based on a country-specific generation profile: GETEC ENERGIE has now also concluded the first GETEC-Austria PPA. With the Ö-PPA, companies in Austria can also benefit from the advantages of a fixed PPA price, guarantees of origin and flexible contract terms – based on electricity from Austrian wind and PV systems.
