GETEC Daten- und Abrechnungsmanagement GmbH is now operating under the name DAM GmbH

DAM was founded in Magdeburg in 2005 as GETEC IT GmbH. As a subsidiary of GETEC ENERGIE, the company was originally intended to provide IT and process services within the group of companies. Over the years, the company’s focus increasingly shifted to data-based process and billing services for energy related applications. In 2008, it was renamed GETEC Daten- und Abrechnungsmanagement GmbH. With this further development, the company’s independence grew continuously.

“Over the past two decades, DAM has developed from an internal service unit into an independent, efficient service provider,” comments Cord Wiesner, CEO of GETEC ENERGIE. “The renaming to DAM GmbH is a logical step to reflect this development externally – and at the same time a clear commitment to further professionalization and market orientation.”

DAM now has its own customer base outside the GETEC ENERGIE group of companies and offers a wide range of energy management services. These include, in particular, process, data, and billing services, which are also provided as white-label solutions for the market role of “energy supplier.” “Our services are now structured in such a way that we can support a wide variety of energy related processes flexibly and efficiently,” explains Geeske Döring, Managing Director of DAM. “The new name stands for our claim to operate in the market as an independent partner with a deep understanding of energy industry processes.”

The new name is accompanied by a modernized brand identity. The new logo stands for clarity, technological expertise, and independence. There will be no changes for customers and business partners: services, contact persons, and existing contractual arrangements will remain unchanged. The management of DAM will also remain unchanged and will continue to be handled by Geeske Döring and Michael Bremert.
