Energy management services for trade chains

Creating a suitable energy procurement concept is not part of the core business of most trading companies. Supplying several hundred or thousand stores with electricity and natural gas usually means a high administrative effort. In many cases, statements and reports are not provided in the formats that fit the IT systems of the central administration. However, when customers specify the type of formats, they limit the competition between possible energy suppliers. GETEC ENERGIE offers trade chains the energy supply for their branches. In addition, we offer companies with a large branch network the mere handling of their energy management processes, allowing them to remain flexible in their choice of energy suppliers.

Energy management services for industrial companies with numerous locations

Industrial companies with several production and administration locations usually benefit from centralized energy management. Only if the individual overall situation of a company is considered can energy procurement be organized efficiently and cost-effectively. We will be pleased to work with you on the design of a procurement strategy and support you with analyzing whether, for example, a separate balancing group might be appropriate for your company. It does not matter whether your locations are across several European countries. We have many years of experience with cross-border energy procurement and the associated processes.

Finding the right mix: energy from renewable and conventional sources

We provide targeted support to our chain store and multi-site customers to procure power and gas according to their individual needs – both from renewable and conventional sources. Together with you, we analyze your current situation, your decarbonization goals and develop a roadmap based on your specifications. This can for example include products related to electricity from renewable sources - such as supplementary guarantees of origin (GOOs) or power purchase agreements (PPAs) – and/or the procurement of biomethane. Biomethane can in some instances offer a reduction in carbon emissions, and can partially or completely replace fossil natural gas.

Combining planning security and flexibility: let’s define your procurement strategy together

Commercial energy consumers often seek procurement models that are ideal for maintaining the balance between planning security and flexibility, on the one hand, and  decarbonisation goals and market-driven prices, on the other hand. GETEC ENERGIE supports its customers with flexible procurement models offering planning security and flexibility by combining long-term products and short-term market opportunities. Depending on your individual situation, this could mean, for example, procuring a certain percentage of your power need on the futures market, another part via a PPA and remaining smaller amounts on the short-term spot market. This can be an important factor for successfully shaping a company’s energy costs.
