For operators of conventional power plants or even combined heat and power plants or waste-to-energy plants, the focus is on the profitable marketing of the energy generated. The income generated depends on the prices achieved on the electricity markets with the marketed power plant capacities. In order to achieve optimal marketing revenues with simultaneous planning security, a strategy is required that is designed for the long term, but also leaves enough leeway to be able to react flexibly to market signals. This requires experience with both the long-term standard trading products traded on the futures market and the short-term day-ahead or intraday markets. We are committed to transparency: How exactly does the marketing of energy from conventional power plants work?

GETEC ENERGIE is your direct trading partner and gives you access to current prices traded on the electricity exchanges. There is no need for you to have your own exchange access. GETEC ENERGIE trades with you in a direct contractual relationship "over the counter - OTC" both long-term standard trading products and the spot market and intraday products commonly used in short-term trading.

We can handle your REMIT reporting for you on request.

If there are reporting obligations for transactions between GETEC ENERGIE and you in accordance with REMIT (Regulation (EU) No. 1227/2011 of October 25, 2011), GETEC ENERGIE will be happy to take over the respective reports for you. The only requirement is that you provide GETEC ENERGIE with all the necessary information, in particular your ACER code.
