With the platform tailored to the needs of energy supply companies offered by our wholly owned subsidiary GETEC Daten- und Abrechnungsmanagement GmbH (GETEC DAM), we are able to handle energy management processes with maximum efficiency. BPO services for public utility companies

Public utility companies sometimes have special requirements in terms of energy supply. To meet their needs, we at GETEC ENERGIE rely on the expertise of our colleagues at our subsidiary EEG Energie- Einkaufs- und Service GmbH (EEG). Energy services for newcomers to the energy market

For strong brands that have a large, established customer base, it can be attractive to add energy supply to the service portfolio for their customers. This is the case, for example, with telecommunications, insurance or large retail companies. However, being an energy supplier is technically, administratively and legally complex. Finding the right mix: energy from renewable and conventional sources

We provide targeted support to other utility companies to procure power and gas according to their individual needs – both from renewable and conventional sources. Together with you, we analyze your current situation, your decarbonization goals and develop a roadmap based on your specifications. This can for example include products related to electricity from renewable sources - such as supplementary guarantees of origin (GOOs) or power purchase agreements (PPAs) – and/or the procurement of biomethane. Biomethane can in some instances offer a reduction in carbon emissions, and can partially or completely replace fossil natural gas.

Combining planning security and flexibility: let’s define your procurement strategy together

Commercial energy consumers often seek procurement models that are ideal for maintaining the balance between planning security and flexibility, on the one hand, and  decarbonisation goals and market-driven prices, on the other hand. GETEC ENERGIE supports its customers with flexible procurement models offering planning security and flexibility by combining long-term products and short-term market opportunities. Depending on your individual situation, this could mean, for example, procuring a certain percentage of your power need on the futures market, another part via a PPA and remaining smaller amounts on the short-term spot market. This can be an important factor for successfully shaping a company’s energy costs.
